 Statement regarding incident on M7/M8 Toll Plaza on 10th May 2025

Gardaí and emergency services were called to attend a vehicle fire at the M7/M8 Toll Plaza in Co Laois at approximately 7.15pm on Saturday May 10th. While parts of the toll plaza sustained fire damage, we can confirm that nobody was injured. The fire was safely managed by the emergency services and their enquiries are ongoing. MidLink M7/M8 Ltd is currently focused on restoring services at the affected areas of the plaza and we greatly appreciate the patience of road users while these works continue. We would like to thank the Fire Services & Gardaí and all responders for their fast response and assistance.
